The Finger Lakes Region of New York boasts one of the most prolific areas for wine. There are over 140 to 150 wineries in the Finger Lakes region of New York. The area is known for its cool-climate wines, particularly Riesling, and features four primary wine trails—Seneca Lake, Cayuga Lake, Keuka Lake, and Canandaigua Lake.
