About Victor Wood Forge

Hi! I'm Steve! I've spent my career in the Mechanical Engineering field all the while having an interest in woodworking and design.  Victor Wood Forge operates out of my small basement shop in Victor, NY where my wife and I moved in 2004.

Returning to this region many years ago re-ignited my love of the outdoors.  I've spent the last ten years hiking, backpacking and spending time exploring all this wonderful Finger Lakes region has to offer.

So, I could not help but to marry those two interests of mine into a small business.  I love to create with wood and love the outdoors and those two passions have created my small shop.

As of 2024 I own two major pieces of equipment: a CO2 Laser and a CNC machine.  The CNC is new to my shop so I'm still exploring it's many possibilities but I have been designing and laser engraving since 2021.
