One of the grandest adventures for any couple, family, or individual to take on is to visit some or all of the 63 US National Parks.
The US National Park Service, established in 1916 by President Woodrow Wilson was commissioned to "conserve the scenery and the natural and historic objects and the wildlife therein and leave them unimpaired for the enjoyment of future generations."
This three-layer 12" x 17.5" Wall Plaque was over two months in development and I'm excited to now make it available for purchase. Even at the very beginning, this project drew lots of attention from co-workers and friends.
Bottom Layer: Engraved MDF with each of the National Park names, states, and dates of establishment in order from left to right and top to bottom.
Top Layer: Constructed of Walnut with the words "The US National Parks" added to the top layer in Maple.
National Park Token (Maple): Each of the National Parks is sized at 1.5" square, 1/4" thick and has its own unique design, and fits snugly into its corresponding slot on the board.
Artwork Credit: I could not have made such a beautiful piece without the talents of Kyle of Golden Ochre (Etsy) in Las Vegas. I commissioned Kyle in May of 2022 to design all these US National Park tokens. He had around 30 completed when I first noticed his work and I knew I had to have him complete them for this project.
