For 2023 I'm unveiling a new lineup of laser-engraved maps of Western New York's Finger Lakes.  Over the next few weeks, I will have all eleven Finger Lakes available in this style.

Skaneateles Lake, at 16 miles long and 1 mile wide is one of the highest of the Finger Lakes with an elevation of 863 feet above sea level.

This four-layer laser-engraved map measures 11.5" x 17.25" and contains the following layers: Lake-Blue painted MDF bottom layer, Golden Brown Maple main layer, Dark Rich Walnut frame, and "Skaneateles" in engraved maple.

I also offer this map without the Walnut Frame.  The Lake Name is engraved in the same location on the bottom of the Maple Layer.

From VisitFingerLakes.com: Large passenger steamboats eventually "lost steam" in the industry and were replaced by smaller vessels.  Many of these smaller boats were used to deliver mail to homes and cottages that could not be accessed by roads. Residents would put their mailboxes on the end of their docks to allow the mail boats easy delivery and pick-up. Today, tourists can still deliver mail the old-fashioned way with the U.S. Mailboat Cruise, a 3-hour water scenic ride up and down the lake.
