JRR Tolkien's The Fellowship of the Ring begins with a long expected party; Bilbo Baggins is turning eleventy one (an extremely rare age and number!) and Frodo, his younger cousin was turning thirty three.
Never really needing an excuse to throw a party, all of Hobbiton was excited for the event and were undoubtedly knocking on Bilbo's door for all reason but most probably to be sure they were invited!
Bilbo, surely needing some peace and quiet, posted this sign outside his door in hopes it would keep some away, especially the Sackville-Bagginses who wanted Bag Eng, Bilbo's home, for themselves.
I've designed two different sized signs (the smaller being an excellent choice to hang on a bedroom door!) to bring a little of the adventure of the Lord of the Rings story to your home.
The Larger sign - 19"x12" comes with a picture hanging bracket (attached) and would make for a great wall-hanging in a den, study or man-cave. This sign has cut-out walnut letters applied to a white washed backer board and a rustic wood frame,
The Smaller sign - 10"x8" comes with a twisted hemp cord (attached) to hang off a nail. This smaller sign has the letters engraved into the white-washed backer board with a rustic wood frame.
