For 2023 I'm unveiling a new lineup of laser-engraved maps of Western New York's Finger Lakes. Over the next few weeks, I will have all eleven Finger Lakes available in this style.
Seneca Lake, the largest of the Finger Lakes is also the deepest (618ft). Getting its name from the Native American Nation of Seneca, this grand lake of Western New York is also touted as one of the finest lakes for Lake Trout.
Geneva, home to Hobart and William Smith College rests at the northern end of the lake while Watkins Glen, noted for track racing and waterfalls, lies at the southern end.
This four-layer laser-engraved map measures 11.5" x 17.25" and contains the following layers: Lake-Blue painted MDF bottom layer, Golden Brown Maple main layer, Dark Rich Walnut frame, and "Seneca Lake New York" in engraved maple.
From Wikipedia: Due to Seneca Lake's unique macroclimate it is home to over 50 wineries, many of them farm wineries and is the location of the Seneca Lake AVA. (See Seneca Lake wine trail).
**I will be creating Finger Lakes Wine Trail maps in 2023 in a very similar style. After all Finger Lakes Maps are re-created, I will be moving on to my first in a series of Wine Trail Maps starting with Seneca.
