For 2023 I'm unveiling a new lineup of laser-engraved maps of Western New York's Finger Lakes. Over the next few weeks, I will have all eleven Finger Lakes available in this style.
Canandaigua Lake, one of the larger Finger Lakes is over 15 miles long and 1.5 miles wide. Deriving its name from the Seneca word Ganondagan, this "chosen spot" lake is home to Canandaigua at its northern end and Naples at the south.
This four-layer laser-engraved map measures 11.5" x 17.25" and contains the following layers: Lake-Blue painted MDF bottom layer, Golden Brown Maple main layer, Dark Rich Walnut frame, and "Canandaigua" in engraved maple.
I also offer this map without the Walnut Frame. The Lake Name is engraved in the same location on the bottom of the Maple Layer.
From VisitFingerLakes.com: Canandaigua lake is home to Skenoh Island, one of only two islands in the Finger Lakes. The Canandaigua Lady, a replica paddleboat from the late 1800s, makes for a great excursion in Spring, Summer, or Fall.
