For 2023 I'm unveiling a new lineup of laser-engraved maps of Western New York's Finger Lakes. Over the next few weeks, I will have all eleven Finger Lakes available in this style.
Canadice, the smallest of the Finger Lakes is about 3 miles long and 0.3 miles at its widest point. Its name, coming from the Native American Nation of Iroquois, means long lake.
Because Canadice is used as a water source for Rochester, no houses are permitted on its shoreline, and boating the waters is quite restricted.
This four-layer laser-engraved map measures 11.5" x 17.25" and contains the following layers: Lake-Blue painted MDF bottom layer, Golden Brown Maple main layer, Dark Rich Walnut frame, and "Canadice Lake" in engraved maple.
From VisitFingerLakes.com: Canadice's untouched shores and forests are natural habitats for bald eagles and water fowl. That is what makes Canadice a nature lovers paradise.
