What better way to represent and track your progress on the Adirondack Mountains ADK 46er Hiking Challenge than with a hiking boot?! This idea came to me in December 2021 and I'm really pleased with how it turned out. If you are looking for a unique gift for that Adirondack Mountain Hiking friend, this is it.
I've recently updated this design to now incorporate three different kinds of wood: cherry, walnut and maple. The "ADK" lettering inside the boot is made from walnut while the treads of the hiking boot which represent each of the 46 Adirondack High Peaks are made from cherry. The Maple base holds all of the tread tokens which are shipped loose in a canvas satchel.
This Hiking Boot measures 20"L x 8.5"W and holds all 46 tokens for each of the Adirondack High Peaks.
